Finding stillness at Paddock Woods: A space worth sharing!
There are some places you visit… and they stay with you.
Paddock Woods is one of those places.
We were invited to come and explore the space, meet the owners and see what we thought about the idea of naturist days and weekends being introduced there. It’s something we’re always interested in — not just any space, but the right space. Somewhere that aligns with what we stand for: comfort, safety, freedom and genuine connection.
So we said yes.
We packed up the essentials — yoga mats, cameras, towels — and made our way there, not entirely sure what to expect but open to whatever the experience would bring.
We were greeted by the owners, a genuinely warm and welcoming couple who immediately made us feel at ease. No awkwardness, no pressure — just friendly conversation and a relaxed introduction to the space. They showed us around, gave us a feel for the grounds, made us a coffee… and then did something that speaks volumes about the kind of place this is.
They left us to it.
No hovering. No interruption. Just trust that we’d experience the space in our own way.
And that’s exactly what we did.
We spent time filming naturist yoga, something that felt completely natural in that environment. We walked through the grounds, noticing the quiet, the stillness, the absence of the usual distractions that seem to follow us everywhere else.
Just space to exist.
It’s rare to find somewhere that allows you to fully switch off like that. Not just physically, but mentally too.
At one point, it genuinely felt like we were miles away from everything — even though, in reality, we weren’t.
That’s the magic of it.
Now, to be clear — Paddock Woods is not currently a dedicated naturist site. But that’s part of what makes this opportunity exciting. The owners are open, curious and willing to create inclusive experiences, which is exactly how meaningful spaces begin.
We’re already in conversation about hosting events there — including our Move & Meditate sessions, as well as naturist life drawing and photography experiences. And having experienced the space first-hand, we can say with confidence: it works.
It really works.
There’s something powerful about combining nature, movement, creativity, and freedom in an environment that feels safe and welcoming. Paddock Woods has the foundation for all of that.
So, would we go back?
Absolutely.
Would we recommend it?
Without hesitation.
And if you’ve ever been curious about naturism — or even just looking for a place to slow down, reconnect and step away from the noise — this might be somewhere worth keeping on your radar.
Sometimes you don’t realise how much you need peace… until you actually feel it.
And when you do, it’s very hard to walk away.
