Ferens Art Gallery 2023

 

2023 saw us be successful again with a submission to the Ferens Art Gallery, Open Exhibition. We are incredibly proud that this is our second success here and we love that it was our favourite Honeymoon picture which was selected. Out of over 3000 submissions only 300 were selected and our bums are amongst them.

The story behind the picture - Whenever we said we were going to Scotland in October everyone said "Make sure you pack your wellies and umbrellas!" So we did 😄. We had a beautiful log cabin with huge hot tub outside. We captured this image one night as the weather was changing from snow to sleet and rain, a perfect opportunity with the full moon behind us too. We sat in our hot tub under the umbrellas drinking champagne... Perfect.

We visited the Ferens the first week of the exhibition and it was great to see our cute bum pic on the prestigious walls among all the other stunning artwork. Most art works are up for sale but we haven't put a price on this one. It's just for us and when we get it back it will be on our Gallery wall at the studio.

It's lovely to see our photography making waves in the art world and keeping true to ourselves with our body positive approach and normalising nudity all the time. We're on the map again.
