What to Expect at a Bare With Us Naturist Swim

Naturist Swim

Thinking about joining us for one of our naturist swim events but feeling a little unsure about what actually happens?

Don't worry. We've put together this guide so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive.

Our swims are designed to be relaxed, friendly and welcoming, whether you're an experienced naturist or this is your very first time.

A private venue, just for us

Our swim takes place at a private venue on an estate, giving us a safe and relaxed environment to enjoy the facilities without members of the public coming and going.

The venue includes:

🏊 A swimming pool

🔥 A sauna

🛋️ Loungers

☕ Tea and coffee

🍪 Biscuits

🚗 Free parking within the grounds

The maximum number for each swim is 17 people, which is the venue's limit. This helps keep the event friendly and manageable rather than feeling crowded.

What happens when you arrive?

We'll arrange to meet everyone outside the venue, and we'll all walk in together.

Once inside, we'll show you where everything is and you can get settled in.

There is no access to the venue by anyone else during our event, so the space is private to our group.

Getting undressed

Most people at our swims choose to be fully nude, but there is absolutely no pressure to strip off straight away.

If you're nervous, clothing optional is completely fine.

You can take your time and get comfortable at your own pace.

The area with the loungers is where people generally get changed. You can leave your clothes on a lounger, chair or on the floor — whatever works for you.

Once you've settled in, you can enjoy the pool, sauna, chat with everyone or simply relax.

What should I bring?

Just bring a towel.

Everything else you need is provided at the venue.

Of course, you can bring any personal essentials you'd normally take swimming, but there's no need to arrive with a suitcase full of stuff. 😂

Who can come?

Our swims are open to:

Single women
Couples
Single men

Everyone is welcome, provided they understand and follow the rules and etiquette of a naturist environment.

The atmosphere is friendly and respectful, and we're there to enjoy the experience together.

What about nerves?

If you've never experienced naturism before, it's completely normal to feel nervous.

You may worry about getting undressed, being around naked people or wondering whether everyone will be looking at you.

The reality is usually much simpler.

People swim.

People chat.

People relax.

People drink tea.

People use the sauna.

People eat biscuits.

Basically... normal people doing normal things without their clothes on. 😂

You don't have to arrive feeling confident. That's what we're here for.

New to naturism?

If this is your first naturist experience, we'd really recommend reading our beginner's guide before coming along.

It explains what naturism is, what it isn't, and the basic etiquette and expectations of a naturist environment.

It will answer many of the questions you might have before your first visit.

The most important thing

There is no pressure to be anything other than yourself.

Come along, take your time, meet some friendly people and see how you feel.

You can be fully nude, partially dressed or somewhere in between.

Our aim is simply to provide a safe, relaxed and respectful space where people can enjoy naturism without judgement.

We'd love to welcome you
